Description:
GN 8 duplex roomette-6 double bedroom-1 compartment (8DXR-6DB-1C) sleeper #1274 BOIS DE SIOUX RIVER. Built by Pullman-Standard in December 1950 in Lot #6889 as a Plan #4181 4 section-8 duplex roomette-3 double bedroom-1 compartment (4S-8DXR-3DB-1C) sleeper, rebuilt in May 1963 to a Plan #4181A 8DXR-6DB-1C sleeper, sold to Amtrak in 1974 as #2402, retired in 1977 and sold for scrap to Ampol Wrecking in Indianapolis. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide.
