Description:
SOO 207 caboose preserved at the Historic Galloway House & Village at Fond du Lac, WI, as seen on 31 May '15. I believe it was built by American Car & Foundry Co. and delivered to the SOO in Sep. 1906. Retired in 1973 at Minneapolis, MN, it was moved to Fond du Lac, WI where the railroad donated it to the Historic Galloway House & Village in 1974, thanks to the efforts of Fred A. Weller and Ray Thornton. It was fully restored in 1974 by them and other rail buffs. It received an exterior facelift in 2008.
